How to get around in Bucerias?

One of the great advantages that Bucerías has is that you can move around a large part of the town without the need for a car (at least in its most touristic areas).

Almost everything is 15 minutes from the center, such as restaurants, shops, markets, the beach, pharmacies, etc. That is why we recommend the best 3 means of transportation to get to know the best that Bucerías has to offer.

🚲 Bicycle

Our favourite. With the bike you can travel from the Golden Zone to the center and the northern part of the coast of Bucerías. Although there are no exclusive paths for bicycles, there is almost no traffic and there is a lot of respect for both pedestrians and cyclists.

⛳️ Golf Carts

Another good option is to rent a golf cart. With them you can also travel from end to end Bucerías. You can make stops to eat or be on the beach and without security problems.

And remember that everything is a maximum of 15 minutes walking: the center, the best restaurants, the beach, pharmacies, bars, etc. Without a doubt a great option.

🚕 Taxis

Taking a taxi to get to know the Golden Zone or downtown Bucerías is NOT a good option. The other three alternatives that we give you are the best, but if you have to move a little further, taxis can help you.

If you want to take a taxi safely, next to the church in the center of Bucerías (the main one in town), there are (almost all day) official taxis.

The general recommendation is to always ask about the prices first, since they charge depending on where you go. It is the most expensive option of all, but it helps you get further (for example, if you go to the Puerto Vallarta airport).

If you are staying in a hotel, ask at the reception if they can get you one.
